The Royal Botanic Gardens

I was tasked to create an Annual Report for the Royal Botanic Gardens. The brief aimed to design a clear yet creative report that celebrated one of Melbourne's greatest tourist attractions. As this report was designed during the first COVID-19 lockdown, I utilized the various flora surrounding my property for the imagery. I then touched up the images in Photoshop and added noise to create a vintage effect. I was heavily inspired by National Geographic so opted to use elegant serif fonts, which I paired with crisp sans-serifs to improve legibility. The colour palette is representative of cool Spring tones, the most popular time to visit the Gardens. This A4 publication was created using Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
