Say
Cheese
Tourism Booklet Publication
Say Cheese is a publication created to celebrate Melbourne's cheesemonger collective. It provides the audience with three handpicked mongers and restaurants and informs them about their specialities and general details. I elected to use a mustard, charcoal and white colour scheme, which plays on classic French fromageries and acts as a feast for the eyes. I designed a map on Illustrator and utilized a decorative title font, paired with a sans-serif for legibility. A square booklet was chosen, as it is shaped similar to a block of cheese. Thin lines were used to accent the publication which evokes elegance and simplicity. I needed to experiment with white space, as this allowed the information to be easy to digest and form a structured hierarchy. I used Photoshop and InDesign to create the publication, and Illustrator to create the map.
